Training & Development

Management Acceleration Programme
Our Management Acceleration Programme allows you to start to build the skills you will need to have for a successful career in hospitality, from business and operations to marketing, managing and buildings teams.
We are going places, and we want you right there with us. The next step up from our MAP programme, the intensive Buzzworks Leadership Training has been designed to empower the next generation of hospitality managers and leaders to progress with their careers.
In a fast-paced hospitality environment, accidents can happen. Our First Aid training will give you the life skills to respond correctly and calmly, while our Mental Health course will equip you with the knowledge to identify those who require mental health support and the confidence to offer assistance when required.
Tasting countless new dishes and sampling great drinks is a tough job - but somebody’s got to do it – from food, wine, cocktails to coffee, beer and spirits. Whether a more seasoned chef or raw recruit new to the industry, our informative Product Knowledge training module will ensure that you know your onions when it comes to food and drink.
Care for your team
Our people make us, so this training course has been designed to ensure that our team leaders and management have the requisite soft skills needed to inspire and motivate those in their care, with a focus on wellbeing.
Whether long, short, black or with oat milk, we take a great deal of pride in pouring the perfect cup of coffee, each and every time. Our practical Barista training course will guide and inspire you through the process of making a great coffee, from bean to serve.
Health and Safety
With our Health and Safety training course, you will learn how to thrive in a safe and welcoming hospitality environment, putting your customers’ and colleagues’ wellbeing first.
Learn how to serve alcohol safely and with confidence. The Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) is for those who authorise the sale of alcohol or manage or supervise in premises where alcohol is sold.
