From flexible working and four-day weeks to our Buzzworks Health Club, we put our people first. Which might help explain why Buzzworks has been selected as one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for in the UK for five years in a row.

Our Core Aims & Values

We have come pretty far since we opened our very first venue in Prestwick almost two decades ago but, our core aim hasn’t changed since then – to make people feel great through hospitality. Whether it’s our team, our customers, or our suppliers, we work hard to ensure that people are happy. It’s what makes the Buzzworks experience so different and creates stand-out venues that customers come back to us again and again.

Key to this are our three core values that inform our culture and inspire our growth going forward: Growing Forward Together, Flair with Care and Value every Voice.

Our Culture

We believe that the Hospitality industry is all about making people feel welcome – and that goes for our talented team as much as it does for our loyal customers. Ensuring our people feel cared for, listened to and fully supported at every stage of their career is at the forefront of all that we do at Buzzworks. Whether through engagement surveys, focus groups or innovation sessions, we do everything we can to engage with our teams and build on their input, to continuously improve the business. After all, our people make us.

5 Years in a Row!

Proud to be named in the ‘Sunday Times Best 100 Companies To Work For’ list in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.

Here at Buzzworks, we encourage our chefs to deepen their knowledge of high quality, fresh ingredients. That’s why our chefs recently had the pleasure of learning from the best of the best – our trusted supplier, @campbellstrade in Linlithgow👩‍🍳

From succulent meats to fresh fish, we were shown first-hand the craftmanship and sustainable practices that go into perfecting Campbells Michelin star quality ingredients responsible for naming them masters of taste. Following a well-earned lunch at The Bridge Inn, our chefs headed back to the kitchen armed with a deeper understanding of our ingredients and a hunger for creating new, delicious dishes!

A big thank you to the team at Campbells for sharing their expert knowledge with us - check out what we got up to💛

We are on the lookout for Stewards to join our late night team at Vics, Tbar and The Fox😎

Have you met Olivia, Beth and Florence from The Coach House?🤗

Olivia joined us a year ago whilst studying law at University. Not only has Olivia been absolutely smashing her degree, she has also made some great memories both on and off shift with The Coach House team.

After dining with her family, Beth also decided to join the team whilst at school. Looking to expand her skills and grow confidence, it has been a pleasure getting to see Beth's fantastic development over these past few months. (Fun fact - Beth moved to Scotland at the age of 9 from Southampton and so far, is loving life North of the border!)

Florence is our latest addition to the team and is enjoying having the opportunity to create great relationships with the local community. Striving towards a career in child psychology, we are sure her experience at The Coach House will stand her in great stead for the future.

Be sure to say hello to the girls on your next visit to The Coach House and if you or someone you know would like to join our team in Bridge of Weir, visit the link in our bio🐝

6 years ago, Aeronautical Engineering student Jordan joined us part time at The Corner House with a great sense of humour and a love for food. Since then, Jordan decided to pursue a career in hospitality and further develop his skills with Buzzworks🐝

Throughout this time, Jordan has fulfilled the role of head bartender, was named 2018’s Bar Personality of the Year at the BII Scotland Awards, welcomed his gorgeous daughter Freya into the world and most recently, has been promoted to Deputy Manager…

“I’m so proud to be Deputy Manager of a venue like The Corner House, we have a great bond not only within our team, but also with our regulars and I’m very fortunate to have found a career that doubles as my hobby”

Congratulations on all your achievements Jordan, here’s to the next 6 years👏💛

We asked Antonio what his favourite Buzzworks food hack is, and he did not disappoint!🤤...

"Our crispy buttermilk fried chicken burger is my favourite dish on the menu! And to make it even tastier, I pair it with our spicy mayonnaise. This mixed with the Monterey Jack cheese and Jalapeños is amazing, especially if you enjoy a bit of spice!"

After 4 years at Buzzworks, we are sure Antonio has plenty more tips up his sleeve! Be sure to ask him the next time you’re in Lido Troon😎

A massive well done to Caitlin who recently hosted our very first ‘Mum Club’ at The Coach House. Mum club is all about creating a comfortable space for local Mums to get together and socialise with their little ones and we are delighted to say that it was a huge success!👶

“We have such a great relationship with our locals here at The Coach House and are so lucky to be able to host these kinds of events that bring the community together. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people return to our venue with friends they’ve made at Mum club.”
