We collect information when you visit our venues, use our websites/app or correspond with us.

You provide us with information when you create an online account and register to use our website or our App, when you register a Benefit loyalty card or buy a Buzzworks gift card, when you use our  customer wi-fi, when you make a reservation, when you visit our venues or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.

We also obtain information when you enter a competition, promotion or survey, when you report a problem with our website or our App, provide feedback or when you participate in any marketing, loyalty, points or rewards promotions.

We record and analyse venue, web and app visits, details of your purchases and where you take advantage of our promotions.

If there is an incident, we may need to log information about it.

If you engage with us online via our websites or app our cookies and similar technologies will capture your IP address, your location, and record how you use the site or app to help improve it and improve your user experience, where your browser settings or permission allows for this.

If you post information online about us or provide feedback, we may keep a record.

If you contact us directly and complain or give feedback, receive compensation, or enter a competition, we will record details and all related information such as emails, letters and phone calls.

We use CCTV in our venues for the prevention and detection of crime and for safety and security reasons.

Reservations information – such as your bookings history and any upcoming reservations.  This may include notes if you have made any special requests.

Technical information – such as information from your visits to our website, your browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website and/ or the App.

Usage information – including information about how you use our website and services.

Marketing and communications – including your preferences in receiving marketing from us.  We also track when and where you take advantage of

We may receive information about you if someone purchases a gift card and instructs this to be posted directly to you

When you make a reservation, buy something from us, join our Benefit loyalty card scheme or enter a competition we run, we use your information to fulfil our contract with you.

We take information to communicate with you, check your identity, take payment, and provide products and services, including awarding loyalty points if you are a Benefit loyalty card holder.


A legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your data. Our legitimate interests include keeping our records up to date, fulfilling our legal, compliance and contractual duties, working out which of our products and services may interest you, improving our site and apps, or products and services, developing new products and services, and telling you about them and conducting market research.

To provide and improve our products and services, including in-store Wifi, Benefit Loyalty card scheme and Buzzworks gift cards.  And also to respond to you if you contact us.

We may record reservation and enquiry communications, including incoming and outgoing calls and emails, for staff training, quality improvement purposes and establishing facts.

When we monitor Buzzworks websites, social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and online services including our mobile app and responses to email marketing. If you post comments online or in other media we may capture this information, contact you, and use it to improve our products and services

To run competitions and promotions and track which offers seem of interest to you.

To understand you better as a customer by analysing your transactions and other information you provide to us or which we learn through your interactions with us.

To send you emails including offers tailored to your perceived preferences if you give us permission to do so (by opting in on your online account).  We record which emails seem to be of interest to you.  Based on your purchase history and Benefit card usage, some customers may be offered additional loyalty points or rewards

To contact you where you provide us with feedback or participate in any marketing research we undertake.



We record CCTV in our venues for the purpose of safety and security.

To prevent, investigate and/or report fraud, misrepresentation, security incidents or crime, including where we are required to do so by law, we may monitor Benefit card accounts and review CCTV,  record call centre communications and emails. We use other organisations to check the validity of the credit or debit card details you use to pay and we may ask you to verify your identity.

We may share your data with a government agency or law enforcement agency for legal, compliance, regulatory or investigative purposes.

If you are involved in an accident at one of our venues, we will record your details in the accident log book to comply with health and safety regulations.



With your consent, we can send you electronic marketing, including promotions and offers, in relation to our products and services.  To receive our marketing communications, you will need to update your account preferences on your online account and opt-in.  These preferences can be managed here –
